About DAV "Sunshine" Chapter #165
"Sunshine" Chapter #165 History
"On 11 May, 1965 the DAV "Sunshine" Chapter #165 was created and chartered with 57 members. Fifty four years later the "Sunshine" chapter has grown to over 800 members and is still actively assisting disabled veterans within the surrounding El Paso community"
Who are we?
The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is an organization chartered by the United States Congress for disabled military veterans of the United States Armed Forces that helps them and their families through various means. We currently have nearly 1.3 million members
Goals
Our goal is to assist Disabled Veterans of the El Paso area, helping them to get registered and file their claims. To connect fellow veterans to the variety of different programs that have been made available to them.
Non-Profit Status
We are a registered Non-Profit 501(c) (4). We can provide this information to Supporters and those interested in making Donations, upon request.
