NEXT MEETING AT: VISTA COLLEGE 6101 Montana Ave Saturday June 1, 2019 @10:00 am
Wishing you the best throughout the year in 2019. I hope your holidays went well, during our last meeting we noticed an increase in attendance and I would like to thank you for dedicating your time and talents to the Chapter. I would like to thank the Chapter Officers for maintaining the Chapter during my absence and continuing to provide great service to our veterans and their families. I would like to continue extending a personal invitation for you and anyone you know that is eligible for membership to attend our meetings. There is valuable information that is being presented during our meetings and I would like for you to receive this information in the hopes that it can help you out with your goals for the year.
The year 2019 is shaping up to be a great year for the Chapter and I like the Commander would like to extend a personal invitation so that you can join us and participate in our endeavors to become more active in our community. We have joined with Walgreens in a partnership that may provide some employment and training opportunities for veterans looking for career changes. Our numbers are growing and we would like to keep that trend going but it takes you taking the steps necessary to become active in your community. Come out and see what this year has in store for us and join us in taking care of our own.
Greetings my fellow veterans, wishing you a Happy New year. May this year bring happiness and good health. We thank all our veterans that have referred us to their fellow comrades. As a result of those referrals, we have initiated the process of submitting several claims for veterans new to the Chapter. Some of these veterans have decided to join DAV Chapter 165. I was very pleased to see that attendance during our monthly meetings has increased, the larger attendance will enable us to be stronger and provide more services to our fellow veterans and organizations that support veterans within El Paso Community.
Greetings. We are looking for sponsors for our monthly meetings. If you have suggestions please let me know. Bill Graham: email@example.com We have been fortunate in a couple of fundraisers at Walmart, the 2 generated about $150. When the weather warms a little more, we plan to do the same again. We need volunteers to show, currently it is the same 5 people. We figure from 0830 to 1200 or. Thank you. Current sponsors have been Taco Cabana, Sprouts, Costco and Starbucks.
